Joe Biden is the 46th President of the United States. He was born on November 20, 1942, in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Biden graduated from the University of Delaware in 1965 and Syracuse University Law School in 1968.
Biden began his political career in 1972 when he was elected to the U.S. Senate from Delaware. He served in the Senate for 36 years and was the longest-serving senator from Delaware in history. In 2009, he was elected Vice President of the United States under President Barack Obama and served two terms in that role.
